SECTION #2 - THEOLOGY
Angels and Demons (20 sessions)
This course deals with the forces of light and darkness at work in the world. Emphasis is placed on the reality of the spiritual realm. Students are taught the nature and function of angels and demons as outlined in the Bible.
Bible Doctrines (16 sessions)
A complete study of 16 fundamental doctrines found in Scripture, including a study of the 2nd coming of Christ. These doctrines are also compatible with the “Statement of Fundamental Truths” of The General Council of the Assemblies of God.
Church of the Living God (8 sessions)
This course focuses on the meaning of the true church, God’s perspective of the church and its function in the world. Students will be taught the impact that the church can and should have on society today. There will also be teaching on ecclesiastical governance issues. An interpretation of the bylaws in relation to credentialed ministers, local churches and district councils will also be provided.
Eschatology—The End Times (16 sessions)
A biblical study of end-time events from a Pentecostal perspective. It covers the Rapture, as well as various views of the Tribulation and the Millennium. The course also provides teachings on the 2nd coming of Christ.
Ever Increasing Faith (16 sessions)
This course focuses on living a life of adventurous faith. Students will be taught the necessity of bold, power-packed faith and how it is foundational for Christian living. They will also be challenged to live-out this kind of faith in a practical way in their everyday lives.
Healing in the Redemption (16 session)
This course teaches that healing is backed by Scripture and was made available through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Students are given a strong biblical foundation for the doctrine of healing and will learn how to access and walk in the healing power that is possible for all believers.
How to Know the Will of God (4 sessions)
A practical study in how to know and discern God’s will and His plans. Students will learn how to follow God’s leading for their life based on instruction and patterns found in the Scriptures.
Intercessory Prayer (12 sessions)
A study in the power of prayer and the rights that we have as believers to access answers from the heavenly realms. Emphasis is placed on authority in prayer, praying Scriptural promises, using the name of Jesus in prayer and breakthrough prayers. Students are also able to practice what they learn in this class through morning prayer sessions. Not only is it academic, but very practical as well.
Spirit, Soul & Body (16 sessions)
A study in the 3-part nature of human beings and what they Bible has to say about each. An emphasis is placed on being Spirit-led, hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit and learning how to avoid living a life controlled by the flesh.
Spiritual Breakthrough Retreat (8 sessions)
A course in the form of a weekend retreat that enables students to become free from the bondages that hold them back from reaching their full potential in Christ. It focuses on identity in Christ, how to demolish strongholds of the enemy, breaking generational sins, overcoming the attacks of the enemy and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Students engage in multiple prayer sessions to practice the steps to freedom that they learn.
Spiritual Gifts (16 sessions)
This course covers all of the spiritual gifts found in the New Testament. Students will be taught the purpose and function of each gift as well as how the gifts should function in a public worship service and in a one-on-one setting. Time will also be given for the students to practice functioning in the gifts of the Spirit.
The Blood Covenant (32 sessions)
Blood covenants date back to ancient biblical times and are a foundation for our Christian faith. They are first mentioned in the O.T. and see their ultimate fulfillment in the person of Jesus Christ. Students will learn the power that is theirs through Jesus Christ at the moment of salvation because of the blood that Jesus shed. Emphasis will be placed on all that belongs to believers through the covenant of salvation that God has provided.
