SECTION #3 - SPECIALIZED MINISTRY

Children’s Ministry (8 sessions)
A course that focuses on how to best minister to children and communicate God’s Word in a way that relates to them. The teaching is interactive and fun, while at the same time, students learn cutting edge and creative ways to communicate timeless truths to young lives. Benefits both prospective children’s pastors and those involved in lay leadership.

Church Planting (12 sessions)
Presents the need to spread the gospel by planting churches. Students will be introduced to different models of church planting and taught all the elements necessary to launch a successful church plant of their own. Opportunities will also be available for students to experience firsthand what it’s like to be involved with a newly planted church or one that is in the process of being launched.

Cults (12 sessions)
A study of the primary non-Christian cults that deceive people into a different gospel other than that found in the Scriptures. Students will learn how to identify a cult and understand how it deviates from Christianity. Some of the focus cults includes: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon), Jehovah’s Witness, Hare Krishna, Scientology and more.

Deliverance Ministry (4 sessions)
In the New Testament, Jesus is often seen casting out demons and delivering people from the oppression of the enemy. This course is designed to train students on how to do the same in their world, using the pattern and life of Jesus as an example to follow.

Inner-City Ministry (4 sessions)
Focuses on the unique way to provide effective ministry within urban areas across the U.S. Students will be taught how to minister to drug addicts, alcoholics, prostitutes, the homeless and others without hope. They will learn how to take people from the streets, allow Christ to set them free and help them to become contributors to their church and their society.

Spirit-filled Worship (4 sessions)
A study of biblical worship with emphasis on how to access the presence of God. Students are taught on the heart of worship and are given instruction on how to live a life of worship that pleases God. Targeted for worship leaders and worshipers alike.

Youth Ministry (8 sessions)
A course that focuses on how to best minister to teenagers and communicate God’s Word in a way that relates to them. Students will learn cutting edge and creative ways to communicate timeless truths to young people. They will also learn how to build a youth ministry from “scratch” and grow it to reach their communities and schools. Benefits both prospective youth pastors and those involved in lay leadership.
